Dementia Action Week 17-23 May
Dementia Action Week is an opportunity to promote and push for better care for people affected by cognitive decline. An early sign of conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease could be a reduction or change in someone’s sense of smell and/or taste. This doesn’t mean that everyone affected will experience these changes but if you do notice a change in yourself or in a loved one, being prepared for the future is particularly important.
If you would like some further information on smell, taste and dementia, please email Fifth Sense at info@fifthsense.org.uk
