Fifth Sense partners FlavorActiV raising awareness of smell and taste disorders at food industry conference
Our partners FlavorActiV are helping raise awareness of smell and taste loss amongst the food industry at a conference on 16th June. The event, organised by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) is entitled ‘Global, Ethical and Safe: Challenges and Solutions for Modern Sensory and Consumer Science’.
FlavorActiV CEO Richard Boughton is presenting a poster which includes a focus on the challenges that many people affected by a smell and taste disorder face when it comes to eating and drinking and they are working with Fifth Sense to help people with impaired olfactory function better understand and utilise any remaining tasting ability.
