It’s 2021 and we are starting the year off with two fantastic speakers that have contributed tremendously to the world of smell and taste!
Firstly, on the 12th of January Dr. Valentina Parma will be discussing Chemosensory Research. As the chair of the Global Consortium for Chemosensory Research (GCCR), Valentina has been instrumental in the GCCR’s work in conducting worldwide scientific studies to assess the possible relationships between respiratory illness (e.g. COVID-19, influenza and the common cold) and their effects on smell & taste

On the 25th of January we have a world-renowned expert on the psychological science of smell, Dr. Rachel Herz. A neuroscientist, TEDx speaker, and published author of both books and numerous research publications. She will be discussing the psychology of smell and the impact that having a smell disorder can have on our well-being, from eating to intimacy.
